It is Wednesday 1 November 2017 and I am now officially part-time. Woo hoo!<\/p>\n

Tuesday is now mini-Friday. I don’t work more than two days in a row. Most importantly I have\u00a0time to myself with no demands on it. My family have been really supportive of my decision to drop a day and cash and they know that Wednesday is not my day for chores or household administration. It is free time to use as I please.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So right now, I’m having lunch with my friend and her son, chatting up a storm, laughing loudly and breathing out.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
By dropping my salary I have bought myself breathing space. I’m incredibly lucky to be able to do this. If I believed in the coulda, shoulda, wouldas\u00a0I would go back in time and take better care of myself. There’s a huge list of what that looks like but as I’m not Doctor Who and I\u00a0don’t have a TARDIS none of that matters. What matters is that I’m taking care of myself now.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
So now it’s time to enjoy my new time to myself and trying new things. Whatever time you can take for yourself do it and join me on a Tuesday evening chinking a mug or a glass to mini-Friday.<\/p>\n
