Doesn&#8217;t it sound fabulous?!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is Joseph Campbell&#8217;s hero&#8217;s journey on a massive scale. You have the prejudice and bigotry the LGBTQA+ community face, the fight of the miners against pit closures, the personal stories of coming out and family alienation, the spread of HIV\/Aids, self-acceptance\u00a0and the importance of finding your tribe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By the end\u00a0of the\u00a0film, the ensemble\u00a0cast look like mates. You believe that they have been through a long fight together. It&#8217;s air-punching\u00a0stuff. Add Dominic West giving it his all on the dance floor in the village club and a soundtrack which gives you the best of the 80&#8217;s together with beautiful brass bands and it&#8217;s joyous. It will put you through the ringer, ignite your passion for a fairer society and give you the fizziest feeling.
