It’s the first of September!<\/p>\n

It is nearly autumn and I’m so excited. I’m not a fan of new years resolutions. They usually seem designed to stop you enjoying yourself or make you feel less of yourself but an autumn resolution is a different beast.Back to School<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An autumn resolution allows you to take stock. You’ve hopefully had a rest during the summer. You’ve thought about what you want or don’t want and you have the energy to give it a bash. You don’t make autumn resolutions with a hangover so they aren’t self-punishing. No one gives up carbs in September.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Autumn calls for a clear out. It’s the time to think about change jobs, starting work on that novel, finally finishing knitting that jumper, take a French class, learn to drive, take more exercise, perfect your filo pastry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s the season of new shoes and new pencils. Make the most of it. Just remember to make time for conkers and leaf kicking.<\/p>\n
