I’ll take a deep breath and start again. The Kate Rusby Christmas tour starts today. The annual singing of multiple versions of While Shepherd’s Watched in a room full of brilliant people is upon us. I’m so excited. For the uninitiated\u00a0Kate\u00a0Rusby has recorded three Christmas albums of traditional folk carols and songs. You’ll know the lyrics, but not the tune. Or the tune, but not the lyrics. There’s singing, there’s a brass band, there are boys playing tunes and there’s Kate’s gorgeous voice. With added glitter and Christmas excitement.<\/p>\n

The bestie and I have been going to the Christmas tour for years. As we’ve gone we’ve added Brian and his lovely wife, Judith, the beloved and Lady Cargers.
