This is a shame.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I do have a cure for this saddening problem. Buy yourself flowers and do it regularly. I am not advocating sending yourself flowers with a note about how earth-shatteringly terrific you are, but if that lights your candle go for it! What I am suggesting is that you get that bunch of tulips that makes you smile in the supermarket. Or armfuls of sunflowers in the farm shop. Even some carnations from a garage forecourt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do the stuff that makes you happy and surround yourself with beauty. It may seem silly at first but a fiver on some flowers will give you days of pleasure and that makes life a little fizzier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unless you are very lucky you may not be brought flowers very often.
