My first make up purchases were black kohl eyeliner and a 17 lipstick called Simply Red. The look has not changed much. I am usually wearing all of the eyeliner or all of the eyeliner plus red lipstick. I don\u2019t do red balm, stain or gloss. Lipstick, proper stuff and don\u2019t fanny about.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are not used to it then Erin Kelly at The Pool\u2019s <\/a>article is bob on<\/span>\u00a0but my advice is get on with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Narrowing it down to my top five (which is difficult) go with these:<\/span><\/p>\n

Nars Jungle Red <\/a>– a Chanel rep was jealous of this colour.<\/span><\/p>\n

MAC Russian Red<\/a> – Madonna wore it on the Blonde Ambition tour. Madonna. That is all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Revlon Fire and Ice <\/a>– The original glamourous red. Never discontinued and bloody gorgeous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bobbi Brown Parisian Red<\/a> – proper juicy red. Insouciant with jeans, a navy jumper and trainers. Heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charlotte Tilbury Tell Laura <\/a>– so red it\u2019s orange. It\u2019s loud, it\u2019s matte and \u00a0it\u2019s the lipstick equivalent of a tequila shot before a night out. Perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
