Fizzy was created as my personal antidote to the crazy world we are living in right now. I have so many opinions but I do not want to be adding to the screaming digital voices we deal with each day. My goal is to make anyone who reads this website smile.

At Christmas, we can all do that for someone. Whether that is being nice to the wonderful people who work in retail at this time of year or making sure your neighbours are ok every little thing you can do helps.

Every year my Mum donates to the RNLI. The woman keeps these people in wellies. I give to a number of charities every month. Refuge works to support women and children who are affected by domestic violence. I give to Shelter because no one should be homeless. Finally, the British Red Cross do excellent in the all too numerous crises the world suffers.

There are local charities that always welcome your assistance. The Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool is the local homeless charity that is a vital resource for the community. They are always in need of donations and at Christmas they provide breakfast, Christmas lunch and gifts for those that need it most.

Your local animal shelter will need food, blankets, toys and donations. I’ll be sending food to Merseyside Dogs Home through their Amazon wish list. Also, your local food bank will be grateful for anything you can spare.

These are just the things you can donate. If you can volunteer there are so many ways to help. From delivering supplies, to walking dogs, helping at your community centre or visiting people who simply need a friendly face. I promise all of these things will give you the fizzy.
