One thing I love about Halloween is a good horror movie. I cannot translate this to Fizzyween without scarring the monkeys for life. Finding those films that scary and delight for younger audiences is difficult. Middle monkey loves dinosaurs but was terrified by Jurassic Park. Littlest monkey is scared of green-faced witches but this can extend to all witches if the mood takes her.
She needs to buckle up this year, I am introducing them to Hocus Pocus. Witches, ancient curses, dance numbers and they will experience the Divine Miss Bette Midler.
If they don’t want to call a cat Thackery Binks at the end of it I have failed.
