Hi, my name’s Fizzy and I have a Zoopla addiction. I like moving house. I like the sense of satisfaction of creating a new nest. I like the order and control sorting out building work and paint colours gives you. I did not leave home until I was 30 and then moved five times in eight years. I think I’ve got a taste for it.
My husband does not feel the same way. He wants to stay here, in our current house, forever. He has put down roots now and likes the security of this being our home and the fact that it always will be. Now, I could make him move. I could. He loves me completely and if I told him that moving is what would make me happy, he’d do it. He’s like that. The thing is, I love him completely and I could never uproot him. Our house is his natural habitat and he belongs here.
So we’ve agreed that this is it. This is where we will stay and we will make this house fit our life, our family and our friends forever. It will not be without challenges, (I see a moving the kitchen and bi-fold doors in our future), but we’ll face them together in our home.
