I love Instagram. I can waste hours scrolling through my feed and cooing over what my friends are up to, travel sites, decor inspiration. Bliss.
If you are not careful and curate your feed you can end up with a bland, homogeneous litany of uninspiring pictures that seemed designed to make you feel less than yourself.
Social media should be a way to express yourself and share that with people. It shouldn’t be a mode of self harm.
That’s where the delightful Allison Sadler is making changes. Allison is a freestylin’ creative who wanted freedom from the peonies and get back to an Instagram for sharing whatever you wanted, not a recycled image of supposed perfection,
I was late to the party (all the best people are, darling) but it’s refreshing to see people sharing what they love and getting love back. Proper self expression, proper community, proper fizzy.
And yes, I had to use peonies in the picture for this post. I told you I like to amuse myself.
