We have made it to Friday. Praise be!

There have been good things in the last week. Here are my highlights.

James Bond Radio 4 did Moonraker with Toby Stephens (hello!) playing Bond and Samuel West (ooh hello!) playing Sir Hugo Drax. I’m telling you, in literature people called Hugo are wrong ‘uns.

Rain Slicker I obviously have wide and diverse style icons. Georgie Denbrough from It could be my weirdest. This anorak from Marks and Spencer makes me look like an overgrown 6-year-old in search of a storm drain. Perfect! Full disclosure – I first tried this gorgeous thing by Seasalt but it made me look like Paddington. I love Paddington but I’d have to go with the hat and furry brown leggings to complete the look.

Red Lips I love a bright lipstick. I am naturally lazy and can’t be bothered retouching. This by Laura Mercier is fabulous. I got Fab, a bright pink with blue undertones and Fire, an orange-red. Not subtle but perfect.

Washing Up Bowl My Mum found the yellow washing up bowl of dreams in Asda. She did a happy dance in the aisles. I did a happy dance when it came home. I can’t find it online but this is similar.
