I’m hosting Boxing Day this year. I want to keep it relaxed and not try to redo Christmas day. I’ve done everything in advance so there is little work to do.
There will be roast turkey for sandwiches, I’ve made orange cured ham (5kg gammon, simmered in orange juice with an onion and cloves for three hours, then remove the skin, smother in marmalade and roast for 45 minutes), my own gravadlax (I think it’s a work in progress) and there will be sticky sausages and more cheese than is healthy for 10 people.
Mum is on trifle duty and there will be treats galore.
Boxing Day should be easy and food filled. I hope yours is delicious and you don’t spill anything on your jim jams.
