It’s the first of September!
It is nearly autumn and I’m so excited. I’m not a fan of new years resolutions. They usually seem designed to stop you enjoying yourself or make you feel less of yourself but an autumn resolution is a different beast.Back to School
An autumn resolution allows you to take stock. You’ve hopefully had a rest during the summer. You’ve thought about what you want or don’t want and you have the energy to give it a bash. You don’t make autumn resolutions with a hangover so they aren’t self-punishing. No one gives up carbs in September.
Autumn calls for a clear out. It’s the time to think about change jobs, starting work on that novel, finally finishing knitting that jumper, take a French class, learn to drive, take more exercise, perfect your filo pastry.
It’s the season of new shoes and new pencils. Make the most of it. Just remember to make time for conkers and leaf kicking.
